Email/SMS Campaign Manager – Job Description:  The Email/SMS Campaign Manager is a hybrid of a technologist and a marketer.  He/she will be responsible for utilizing the company email/SMS marketing platform to build, customize, deploy, analyze and optimize email/SMS campaigns.   


Responsibilities include:

  • Managing campaigns and sales forecasting, including: planning and management of calendar; forecasting sales performance for each and every campaign planned; development of content strategy and creative briefs; and management of review process – Management of review process to include frequent presentation of email calendar and email creative to executive team
  • Coordinating activities and resources between cross-functional teams, including affiliate, business development, product, tech, finance, customer service and executive teams
  • Driving innovation in marketing program through development of advanced strategies, such as preference center, segmentation, dynamic content, and new email types (e.g. new triggered email, new promotional email, new e-newsletters). Evaluating new email/SMS approaches, competitive benchmarking, best practices, new technology, and vendor capabilities to identify opportunities to improve email/SMS relevance, customer engagement, and sales.
  • Driving optimization in email/SMS marketing through frequent and ongoing testing and analysis. Creating and managing test calendar, including collaboration with appropriate channels for input. Communicating results and insights from tests to executive team.
  • Managing email/SMS deployment for all communications, programs, and channels. Ensuring the standard of flawless deployment continues to be met.
  • Identifying consumer needs/wants and developing a compelling value proposition to drive email/SMS acquisition
  • Attending and participating in sales meetings, training seminars and workshops
  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years solid experience in email marketing, preferably in an e-commerce/consumer internet environment
  • BA or BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field preferred
  • Strong technical skills. (HTML, Photoshop/Fireworks and SQL experience is a plus.)
  • Thorough understanding of online creative strategy development.
  • Experience managing, optimizing and growing multiple vertical email/sms campaigns
  • Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction based on that analysis

Affiliate Marketer/Account Executive – Job Description: The job of the Affiliate Marketer is to manage existing affiliate accounts as well as develop new accounts; both on his/her own and those assigned to him/her as assigned by management. (Open To Internet Traffic Brokers/Outside Remote Sales Associates)


Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and adhering to strategies that establish proactive communication, monitor and improve service results and effectiveness and optimize value propositions
  • Supporting and growing the revenue of existing accounts
